The New Worlds Patreon is finally tackling a fairly central concept we’ve missed up until now: government! Beginning with the lack thereof, i.e. the largely egalitarian social structure often found among mobile hunter-gatherer groups, and the two types of status that shape how people are treated. It really, really isn't -- thanks for letting me know. I suspect it has to do with the fix my web guy implemented to deal with the fact that scheduled posts weren't going up at their appointed time.
