When is the next one out? I finished Tropic last night and now I can't wait... I really enjoyed it ^_^

There isn't a date set for it yet that I know of, but it should be around this time next year.

Dragon Eggs

Hi, I just want to say first that I just picked up the Natural History of Dragons on a whim the other day (probably due in part to Todd Lockwood because I love him and everything he does), annnnnnnd it was amazing and I finished it that same day and went back to get this one. So I wanted to say thanks for that. And I liked the second book even better. I think the world you made is outstanding... and so are the dragons.

But getting to my question: what did you imagine the swamp wyrm eggs looking like? Were you personally imagining them as like amphibian eggs or just a ton of reptile eggs?
And if it is amphibians, did you base it at all off of Marbled Salamanders? Because they have a similar process with the eggs hatching with rising waters after being laid on land.

I wasn't familiar with marbled salamanders at the time, but they're a good comparison, with the seasonal flooding and all.
