Reddit AMA on Tuesday March 11th

Have you ever wanted to ask me anything?

Well, tomorrow you’ll have your chance. At 4:30 Eastern time (1:30 Pacific time), I will be doing an AMA on Reddit — an “Ask Me Anything.” You’re free to ask about the Memoirs of Lady Trent or something else writing-related, but you’re by no means required to; if you want to know what my favorite food is or how my recent karate belt test went, those kinds of things are all fair game.

I’ve never done one of these before. It should be an adventure . . . .

I don't have a Reddit account. Can I ask you something here?

Why on earth were Doppelganger and Warrior and Witch relabeled as (the totally flavorless and thematically inappropriate) Warrior and Witch?

(I apologize for editorializing. I just needed to get that off my chest.)

It was a compromise between a number of people. I'm not that thrilled with them, either, but eh.

(Nor, for the record, was I ever that thrilled with Warrior and Witch. It was supposed to be titled Witch Hunt, which is also not brilliant but had a nice double meaning, but unfortunately another book at the same publisher had the same title and was going through the pipeline around the same time, so I had to change it.)

My favorite titles for the series, honestly, are the German ones: Doppelgänger and Hexenkrieger. They're parallel in a way the English could never really manage.
