“Mad Maudlin” is live on Tor.com! And the artwork for it is as beautiful as it was the first time I saw it.

I loved the opening of "Mad Maudlin" and stopped for reasons that are no fault of the story's (the setting is a little triggery for me, old boring story). I hope someday I can return to it and finish it; and in the meantime you got fantastic artwork for it indeed.

Ah, yes. I can see how anything in a psychiatric setting could be problematic for certain readers. Sorry about that. :-/

Please don't be sorry. I'm certain the rest of it is fantastic too. Just, personal circumstances. There are (sf/f) stories I read in my childhood that I probably couldn't reread now that I have experienced psychiatric hospitalization. :-p
