1) Sure, I'll be kind and put the big one first. I've sold a story to Tor.com! "Mad Maudlin," a novelette based on the folksong variously known as "Bedlam Boys" and "Tom o'Bedlam." It won't be published until late this year or early next, but I'm extremely pleased nonetheless.

2) One straggler from the ANHoD blog tour: an interview with me at LibraryThing, wherein (among other things) I divulge how [personal profile] kniedzw and I approached the most important question one must consider upon moving in together: whether to combine libraries or not.

3) Latest post at BVC is on superstitions.

Edited to add:
4) A Natural History of Dragons is #8 on the Locus bestseller list for May. Go, little book, go!

Just dropping a comment as requetsed. Follwed a link from [livejournal.com profile] calico_reaction.

I'm a buyer of your books as I have to admit that they are son my TBR very high pile. Still I have heard many positive things and I'm a huge fan of fantasy whether contemporary or historical that feature Faerie.

Edit: Glad I read your user info has obviously missed there was a Book 4 for Onyx Court.

Regarding your sale of the folksong story have you encountered 'Long Lankin' by Lindsey Barraclough? That and 'The Tale of Raw Head and Bloody Bones' have both impressed me of making good use of English folklore.

I haven't read that, no -- but it sounds like the sort of thing I would enjoy. Thanks! (And welcome to the blog.)
