Apparently it's Tuesday in some sense. I found copies in the local Barnes & Noble outlet, and picked up one right away. The cover is even nicer at full-size!

Bookstores aren't supposed to put things out before the street date, but in practice, stuff gets shelved as it arrives -- unless it's a big title (e.g. the Harry Potter books).
