Two things that need sharin' --

Eragon sporked. Book, not movie. In case you're like me and want to know enough about the book to talk about its shortcomings without actually having to, y'know, read the book. I know that site is not aimed at saying good things about it, but still, it's a sad state of affairs when the most positive thing I can find to say at the end is, "hey, Saphira's a nice name."

Everyone in "Hands of Fate: The Next Generation Legacy" needs to read this. Including the comments. Or at least the one about the badger.

The Eragon sporking was very fun! I wasn't impressed with the book when I read it. It is fun to see someone write about it and basically say what I was thinking - not much happened because I really don't remember it at all.

Having just read the Eragon sporking, I must say "Ow." Holy crap, dudes. Assuming it's an accurate representation, I must shake my head at the moronic injustice of the fantasy publishing world.

Apparantly, I just needed to start writing earlier so I could be a l33t Wunderkind by slamming Pern and Star Wars and LotR together when I was 15. Because if you're a teenager, it's okay to be a hack and still be a bestselling author. OW.
