Clockwork Phoenix 2! Is now available as an e-book (like the first one a while ago). You can buy it from Weightless Books, or from Amazon US or UK. (More information here.)

For those who may not recall, this one has my short story "Once a Goddess."

InterGalactic Awards Anthology Vol. I! Will be FREE this weekend on Amazon, from Saturday through Monday. Apart from some seriously awesome people like Peter Beagle and Aliette de Bodard ([livejournal.com profile] aliettedb), it also includes stories from me and a personal friend, Von Carr. Mine is "A Heretic by Degrees" (which is a Driftwood story), and hers has the fabulous title of "Sister Jasmine Brings the Pain" -- the best post-apocalypses story about a combat nun I've ever read. ^_^

It can be yours this weekend!

If i'm right, InterGalactic Awards Anthology Vol 1 is only free ('to borrow,' natch) if you own a Kindle. I mean, it's only $3.99 to buy, which is worth it, but sadly there are more limits to the free copy than appeared at first blush.

(I could be doing it wrong, and if so, i'd appreciate anyone who could point out how i can get it without a physical Kindle.)

Ah, fair. I suppose i didn't read the above post closely enough, about it being Saturday through Monday.

I don't actually know. The e-mail I got just said "free on Amazon," starting tomorrow. The "free to borrow" language looks like a Prime-specific thing, which is separate, I think, from what will be happening over the weekend?

I completely skipped over the 'starting tomorrow' part in my excitement. I think the fail is on my end here. (:
