Okay, I've been in games where we blow up elevator shafts with a jet-skis, and I've been in games where we steal reincarnated lama/camels from Tibetan peasants, and I've been in games where meddling dwarves send their friends off with picnic baskets full of spells designed to make them stop blushing at each other and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT ALREADY . . .
. . . but I've never been in a game where a character glued an NPC to his back.
Nor, now that I think of it, have we ever driven the GM to drink. Must try harder!

Date: 2009-06-26 07:23 pm (UTC)The final version of the plan involved letting a badger out in Scotland Yard and getting a dachshund, which had been enchanted to cause a zone of frictionless floor wherever it went, to chase the thing past the lady, who would slip and fall into the detective's waiting arms. The frictionless enchantment was, of course, enacted by the party sorcerer, who got on board with this plan mostly to create a distraction so that his own scheme to steal a brain in a jar from the evidence room would go unnoticed.
The weird thing is this actually kind of worked, but it did lead to them all getting arrested.

Date: 2009-06-26 11:34 pm (UTC)No Anticipation for me, alas. I'm not a big WorldCon fan, and it's awfully far to go for a con I'm not that wild about.

Date: 2009-06-27 10:27 pm (UTC)Drat. I'm likely not making it to WFC (which I presume you'll be attending, what with it being effectively next door and all). Do you post your con schedules at all? Or are those decided on more of a "spur of the moment" basis?
