Sometimes the answer to your plot problem is staring you right in the face.

If one of Charles' problems in 1640 was that he had three kingdoms to juggle, then clearly the way to set up problems on the fae side is to drag Ireland and Scotland into the mess, too.

International faerie politics for the win!

Crazy Girl.

That means you have two more countries to research! :p

No, you have it backwards. My research was already dragging me through the morass of Ireland and Scotland. I'm just making use of it.

Uh huh.

I don't believe that you'll be able to stop with what you've already got. :p

Scotland & Ireland will eat you.

You don't believe me only because you don't see what I've already had to wade through. <g>

This will also mean (you poor, poor thing) that you'll have to go to Ireland and Scotland to do some research.

Visit the Isle of Skye. Look for the Red Deer Tours, if they're still about. He was teh awesome.

And this castle -it's nifty

Edinburgh too, of course.

<lol> No, no trips. This is a London-centric series; the action won't be running off to Ulster or Fife. It's just that problems will originate there, and come my way.

Four countries in one month is enough for me already. ^_^

Awww. I dunno, you may have to invent some more series to allow you to see Scotland. Though given your fondness for warm weather, you'll probably get inspired by the Mediterranean.

I already have an idea for a Mediterranean book . . . .

I knew it! I knew it!

OMG, it's hot here in DC. How do people stand weather above 80 degrees?

*dies*

Yes, I'm sure the sound of a thousand A/C units revving up is already well underway back home. In the beltway you scuttle from your house to your car, from your car to your office and back. Oh, and make an offering to the gods of freon.

How do people stand weather below freezing? You learn to deal. And get some help from technology.

You mean, he had problems other than, you know, losing his head?

Well, his head didn't just fall off, you know. There were problems that caused him to part company with it.

International Fae politics are always FTW.

Especially when you can go "Look, right there, that actual historical event backs me up on this!" :D

Which is more or less the mission statement for this series.
