WSFA Award finalist!

swan_towerI got this news on Friday, but had to keep it under wraps until today: my Onyx Court short story "This Living Hand" is a finalist for the WSFA Small Press Award! This is particularly exciting for me since I don't often achieve this kind of thing with my short fiction; the last was an honorable mention in 2004. "This Living Hand" was published in Sunday Morning Transport in February of 2022, and you can read the beginning of it here, but the story as a whole requires a subscription. SMT's been publishing some really fantastic stories since its launch, though, and it's highly worth following!
