This is one of the silliest pieces I've ever written.
I don't mean that in a derogatory way; sometimes it's fun to cut loose with a story that's intended from the start to be humorous and light-hearted. It says something that I wrote this one on my birthday, having made the conscious decision that doing so sounded like a fun way to spend that day. I may have thoroughly befuddled the vet I called with research questions for this story -- especially once I explained what was going on in the story -- but hey, that was part of the fun!
As for what's going on in the story, you'll have to read it to find out. Which you will be able to do in June! Poor Flufferina and her tale have found a very apt home at Frivolous Comma, and will be available there soon.
