Absolutely slain of cackling at you nudging your trunk novel under the desk with a toe. If both you and Alyc hadn't said on multiple occasions you were steering away from grimdark and toward ultimate healing, I'd be really terrified rn. ;) Also, damn that sounds like a cool premise; definitely something to consider recycling, though not with our girl! I wanna see, or imagine seeing, her sipping her beloved chocolate at the end of all this, getting the richly complicated life she deserves. But yeah--there're so many interesting knots within that trunk-premise, especially when getting into the ethics of how and when ghost-character can interfere and/or interact with the living.
I continue to just love these progress reports so damn much. I meant to tell you a few chapters back, but it works here too because I'm still cackling over: the worst moment in a knotboss's life was one of his fists saying I have an idea. Especially because I can hear our out-of-this-world sublime audiobook narrator delivering it all perfect deadpan. (Gaaaah, we won the readers won the lottery! audiobook wise, and it takes my excitement from somewhere already stratospheric wrt Liar's to at least mesosphere levels.)
