I canceled some fripperies from my budget so I could become a member of the ACLU (which means recurring donations, not just a one-off donation). At work, I wear my safety pin all the time, which I modified by adding a little rainbow of beads, because my new mission is QUEER ALL THE THINGS. I'm going to be teaching explicitly about fascism and resistance. At the holidays, I bought "presents" for some of my friends that were actually donations to various charities, including CAIR.
