Excellent! We thought the Greek and regular Cyrillic alphabets might be too familiar to the people around us, but Cyrillic cursive was more extreme, with for example a cursive T looking like our Roman cursive m. Oddly it never seemed relevant that my dad had studied Russian and could probably decipher whatever we wrote, but I wasn't living with him then anyway.
